By Black First Land First
Black First Land First (BLF) shall today lead a march to the offices of the Public Protector. The main aim of the march is to reject both the Public Protector’s report on state capture requested by the Democratic Alliance (DA) as well as the report on the R26 billion stolen by whites. The Public Protector has already displayed politically, racial bias towards white capital in her attitude towards investigating the subject matter of each of these reports. Hence her reports by necessity do not flow, as they ought to, from investigations that are “without fear, favour or prejudice”.
BLF started a 24hour picket outside the Public Protector’s Office since last week over the period 6 to 7 October 2016, and resumed action on Monday 10 October 2016 for continuous picketing until Friday morning 14 October 2016. Advocate Thuli Madonsela has refused point blank to meet BLF.
The reports she will publish today are political gifts to the DA and a tool to protect white capitalists such as Johann Rupert. Madonsela is part of the regime change forces which want to remove President Zuma from office in service of imperialism. They also want to push the Gupta family out of South Africa so that Johann Rupert can continue his monopoly over the economy.
BLF rejects the reports and calls on Madonsela not to publish them. To this end, the incoming Public Protector shall have enough time to do comprehensive investigations. Madonsela has totally ignored the complaints laid by BLF against white capital in both the state capture as well as the stolen R26 billion “investigations”.
