It’s nine years since the public execution of Andries Tatane on 13 April 2011 in Ficksburg for simply demanding for water.
I did a live broadcast last night on my Facebook page to pay tribute to this beautiful fighter. I deliberated, amongst other things, on the Thomas Sankara Oath (dedicated to Tatane) which compels Politicians to use Public Services as a means of elaborating a truly responsive state.
