Checking matric results killed by liberal privacy rights

The emphasis on irrelevant liberal rights have just killed one of the milestones and deep practises of waking up at 3am to go and wait for the newspapers with matric results. If your name doesn’t appear you didn’t make it!

Scores of learners waited in those garages for the papers, some with their parents. It’s a huge deal and a cultural event now killed in the name of privacy. If you failed we’re going to know very soon in any event. And the high failure rate is a reflection of the deformed public education.

Private schools get 100% pass rate every year but they cater for only 12000 learners. The public schools cater for over 600 000 learners!
We must fix the public school system bottom-up!
Black kids experience 12 years of underdevelopment in public schools. This must change!
